Proprietors, Noel & Annemarie Costello have recently extended and renovated the premises. We have managed to retain the character of the original bar, while the Restaurant is modern and comfortable, set in our conservatory which has easy access to the decking for a breath of fresh air or even a quick smoke.

Menus are interesting and change monthly so that our regular customers never tire of the options. We endeavour to provide good food using fresh produce which is locally sourced wherever possible. Knockanore & Knocklara cheeses, homemade sorbets using Crinnaghtaun apple juice, free range eggs, local bread, beef and lamb all feature on our menu.

All of our desserts are homemade and our Sticky Toffee & Ice Cream enjoys quite a reputation.

In addition to our menu, we have "Blackboard Specials" each day. We specialise in high quality fish, which is delivered daily from Castletownbere in Co Cork and Dunmore East in Co Waterford. Our Lobster tank, which is there for all to see, is quite an attraction and we are one of the few bars in the West Waterford area serving fresh lobsters and oysters.

Naturally, we have a strong "Bar Food" business, where homemade soup with brown bread and crispy lemon sole are among the favourites with our customers.

We serve food daily from 12:30pm to 9pm (9:30 on Saturday) Our traditional Sunday lunch is served between 12:30pm & 2:30pm. We welcome well behaved children. For reservations telephone (058)56522
